Summer is here, and that means more Americans are planning their summer vacations. However, travel can be quite uncomfortable, especially if you are on long-haul flights and dealing with jetlag.

Always sleep the night before
This is one of the most important steps to follow when traveling but is often easier said than done. It is crucial to hydrate as much as possible when you are flying as the air is incredibly drying on an airplane. If you are thirsty it is too late, so make sure to keep a bottle of water around you at all times. This is also applicable if you have a heated neck pillow as the temperature while relaxing, can cause you to feel thirstier than normal.
