Where are your products made?

All products are made in Washington state, USA. A factory in the Seattle area made them for us on a contract basis. To ensure the quality, we have dies made so the pillows have a standard shape.

Who designed this pillow?

The designer is a talented person with medical and research experiences who holds both MD and PhD degrees.

Where do I use the pillow?

The pillows are designed for travel use, such as in a car or on a flight. However, many people use them while watching TV or reading, even sleeping. These pillows are not for drivers.

Can I use it for sleep?

Yes, you certainly can! A lot of patients use it for this purpose. Use a cotton cover enhances the comfort. Fleece and micro plush materials can be hot for sleeping use. Please note that the custom made type is not comfortable for sleeping use.

How to use it when I sleep?

You may flip the pillow so the opening is away from your neck, and the neck support part is still at the neck area. You may use it side ways or sleep on your back. Put the pillow in a pillow case would also work fine.

Note: the pillow in picture is taller than normal. It is a custom made pillow for people with 4" neck length. This type is not the best for sleeping use.

What is the advantage of ChiroNeck?

ChiroNeck has an extra firm neck support insert. It helps in maintaining your proper spine alignment.

Can I wash the pillow?

Yes. It is perfectly safe to machine wash the entire pillow with stuffing using gentle cycle. However, gentle hand washing is suggested.
If your pillow contains a lavender sache, please remove it through the zipper opening before soaking in water.

Can I wash the Sunny Bay heating pads?

Only the cover please. It is perfectly safe to machine wash the entire cover using gentle cycle. Never wash the insert. The flax seeds will soak up water and may grow.

What are the shipping & handling charges?

The shipping and handling charges are listed in the table below. All items will be sent via first class, parcel post, or priority mail. Please allow extra charge for Alaska and Hawaii if required.

When do you ship after an order is placed?

If the item is in stock, it is shipped within 2 days of your order. Saturday orders may be shipped on Monday. Otherwise, the order will be shipped within a week. We post shipping delays online. Express mail option is now available. If you need to receive your order within 3 days, you may add an express delivery request. Please remember that heating pads are heavy and may require additional express mailing charge. When there is a back order, we will post them online, and notify you via email.

What size should I get?

For most adults, medium should work fine. It all depends on your shape and neck size.

Which type of fabric should I pick?

In general, plush materials are softer than fleece. Micro plush and luxury fabrics are the softest, but micro plush can be warm in the summer, even in the winter when you sleep with it. Use a cotton cover enhances the comfort. Fleece and micro plush materials can be hot for sleeping use. The luxury fabric is both super soft and breathable. This type of fabric is ideal for both summer and winter.

How long should I microwave the heating pad?

Please follow instructions on the product label came with your product. You should never overheat the heating pad due to the risk of fire. Normally, 1 minute is enough. Depending on the weight of your heating pad, you may increase the microwave time. To reheat the heating pad when it is still warm, please remember to cut the microwave time to 1/3 of the original time required to heat.
